so at noon today I decided to take a 2 hour lunch to go see this flick....
All I have to say is this is by FAR tarantinos BEST work from his 3 other films... and I am a big revervoir dogs fan.
The movie has it all... great action sick and deep story as well as tarantinos signature break up movie style. This film is VERY bloody and shocking and if you know kung fu movies then you know its 2 guest stars... sunny chiba and gordon liu (master killa)... and the film score is awesome (done by the RZA!) AllI can say is it leaves you begging for more... fasten your seat belt when you see this.....

I saw Kill Bill today, thought it was ok, never great in my opinion, not even close to Pulp Fiction. If you like fighting movies then you'll like this one, if you like me and like more intelligent plots then you wont like it much. I think I'll wait for Vol 2 to hit Pay Per view before I see it.

I just saw this tonight great fuckin movie all around---I think the plot was basci and simple but the twist he puts on his movie along with his crazy thouhgt process include humor and violence and racks up to be a great movie-----the fuckin music was insane a great soundtrack that just went perfect with every scene

D whos comparing it to pulp fiction?
there 2 completely different films, this movie had action that pulp fiction lacked and pulp fiction had great dialouge and well developed characters that kill bill didnt have
they were both great and very different, theres no reason to compare the 2 becasue they have the same writter/director

i saw a lot of people get up and walk out of this movie (my friend was one of them, he just hated it) u really have to be a tarrentino fan to enjoy this movie and the people who are loved it
if ur not then u prob dont uderstand his humor, like the male nurse getting paid to let guys fuck her, that something only he could imagine
the fght scenes were great and very unrealistic but thats why i happened to love it because it was far fethced just like old school kung fu movies, like enter the dragon when bruce lee takes on an entire underground martial arts academy by himself
just like any far fethced action movie (rambo, commando, or any other one man army movie) they areeeeeeee gonna be unrealistic and prob gory if its not ur cup of tea then so be it
this wasnt titanic, saving private ryan, castaway or any other academy award winning film it was a moderen day kung fu flick, with some gore, sexy actresses and humor added to it
jsut accept it for what it was, like i said its not gonna be everyones cup of tea
the man has spoken! have a nice night
uummmpppphhhh and i was booted as moderator what a crock of horseshit :)

Tarantino is AWESOME..he's a wizard I tell ya..as far as the nurse shit yeah that was pretty out there..lmao..sadistic..
The fighting scenes were extremely entertaining, except the scene in the restaurant when 500 of them showed up I got a Matrix flashback..too many..i love the fighting but c'mon like 500 of them?
Uma is OFF the hook..just as great as she was in Pulp Fiction..she performs excellent under Quentins direction..its also funny how the blood kept quirting..I thought that was VERY funny after a while..the pussy car that was mad funny.
all in all though I would give it a B..only problem I had was the story..not so "original" as Tarantino flicks go..other than that I liked it ;)

I think the two movies can not be compared bc the are so far from the same-------Me personally I love anima thats the bottom line I have watched so much anima and used to love to draw. I actually know a lot of japanese words from watchin everything in sub title---This was an american twist of crouch tiger hidden dragon with really hot chicks---Plus i am a sucker for asians so do I think it was better yes just me though---:D

Seems to me as a poor excuse to cash in a bit more when he knows full well that the movie will be eclipsed by big hitters like Matrix Revolutions. Isn't Lord of the Rings three hours? If the movie is entertaining enough, then that time will go by in a heartbeat. Even his comments about movies relying so much on CGI seem merely as vain attempts to try garner some type of attention to his film by implying "see my film cause i'm different."
Movie was ok but hardly grounbreaking. Felt more like a straightforward B action flick. Sure it might be paying some type of homage to samurai films but this goes unnoticed to most of the viewing public. Also, time rearrangement seemed so out of place at times. By all means use it for back story, but why the hell can't he just do a chronoligically ordered movie? Sure it worked before but it doesn't mean he should rely on the gimmick in every movie that he now makes.
I don't buy the fact that you have to be a Tarantino fan to enjoy the movie. I loved his previous movies as much as the next guy but don't see why it should help in swaying my decision to either direction.

i can go on for hours about this movie, but i simply loved it....i was really surprised cuz when i saw the preview i was disappointed, but there are a ton of great things happening in it ....if you're a big movie fan and get a kick out of cinematography, placement of comedy within violence, wondering if certain dialogue was scripted or improvised, long steady cam shots, props, etc then you will love it
