the last time i got a cold it came at a REALLY BAD time so i had to do whatever i could to get rid of the fucker..im not condoning such drug ingestion but ill tell u what I did to get rid of it in 2 days.... echinacea, advil cold and flu 3x a day, 1 multivitamin, an additional 1000mg of Vit. C, 2 Alka seltzer plus cold and sinus effervescent tabs, and Nabutamone (an anti-inflammatory but its prescription...u can just take an advil to replace that) ...2 days and the cold was gone...never came back...my liver on the other hand took a beating :teeth

That tea/warm drink stuff, I think it's TheraFlu. Works well for a short amount of time.
I also drink Echinacea Root vitamins and stock up on GNC's chewable Vitamin C. So damn tasty!
Oh, and Vicks Vapor Rub for your chest at night. Real goooood!
However, you might be in need of antibiotics. I usually go w/ Cipro, 'cause Zithromax(but this works wonders quick) hurts my tummy.
