I'm not sure about the RR's serivce is as I use RCN for cable but I'm pretty sure the download speeds for RR is around 2-4mb. That translates to around 300-400KB/s max download (depedent of course on where you are downloading from). Upload speed is where it lacks: 384 Kbps upstream. Thats about 30KBS or so.
I'm sure if you get the package, you'll end up saving in the long run. I pay for the gold package through RCN (includes cable with premium channels, internet and phone) and it comes out to be around $175 a month. Save maybe $50 or so doing it all together.

if you have the choice between optimum online and roadrunner go with the optimum ;)

yeah roadrunner sucks balls, my cable should go ALOT faster
jarrett and i have it. you have to see what available in the neighborhood . we have time warner so im sure thats available by you too.
