I really hate places that just assume you want scrambled eggs if you ask for two eggs on a roll or bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. Completely ruined my breakfast for me this morning. I should know better by now that I have to specify fried eggs to these awful delis. The worst is have the time when they do it, it's with some fake egg beater crap.

yea its pretty much a given at most places that they will do this. I always tell them to fry it now, so they know to not scramble + use real eggs.

Yea. The thing is the deli I used to go to growing up, I would get a BEC every Sat morning and order it and it would be fried by default and the yolk wouldnt be runny, but not completely dry either. Ughhh it was the best. I never had to specifically order it. The two places I go to on SI now do it fried too without asking. It's usually when I'm in the city that I have to tell them otherwise you get their crappy orders. It sucks because I'm never alert enough in the morning to remember to ask for it LOL.

lol good luck. i think whats worse is when the bacon is chewy, and not cooked all the way thru.....then you're chewing on bubbalicious fat. :gum

if anything the most places would usually have the bacon overly crispy because usually its sitting on the grill the whole morning for the AM rush.

and yea usually the default egg in the city is scrambled.

I prefer scrambled eggs in sandwiches, but I like a fried egg with my spam and rice

Cut thin and fried like bacon :agree
