i got it done today and it's amazizng! u dont have to wait 4 days to wash your hair ... they wash it for u on the day u get it done, and then u can wash it after that whenever you want ... its supposed to last longer also
my hair is naturally curly, and the girl blow dried it in 5 minutes silky straight just running her fingers through it .. even my bangs!! :lostit

My hair is wavy and already takes only 5-10 min to blow dry - will this make it thinner?

depends on hair type rly
straighten systems are really only spose to be used on thick coarse hair really IMO, if you have fine thin hair could damage it/break it,
try getting an ion straightener for your hair its seriousy A M A Z i N G
just b u

humper what straightener would you suggest that isnt ghb for $250, something cheaper but really good? you seem to know hair tools very well.

Ehh I don't need it for the straightening - but if it would make it dry nice without having to blow dry it, thats tempting :shuffle

the place was in Flushing queens ... here's the link http://www.hairclubib.com/ .. they specialize in brazilian keratin treatments and japanese hair straightening ... i don't know what the name of the brand was that they used, but i suppose you could call and ask
mandy, it did make my hair a lot thinner
katrina, i wouldnt recommend a hair cut here, my mom had her hair cut last time she got the keratin treatment done and she said they cut it too short even after she told them not to take a lot off

really?
hm i hope they didn't lie to me! i was told 5-6 months, so long as i don't wash it every day or dye on top of it
w/e, even if it lasts for 3 months i'll be happy, and then go back for another one lol the first treatment i got was the "formaldehyde free" one, and that only lasted about 2 months till it started to fade ...after seeing how my hair can be after getting this done, i can't deal with my normal hair any more!!

ehhhh5-6 months???? i dont think so..it really depends on how fast ur hair grows. the hair that was straightened will stay straight its the regrowth thats going to look different than the rest so if ur hair grows fast u will see it within 3 months really
BIO IONIC is the best one out there, put it in take it out, simple no leaving it in bullshit.

I have to get mine redone. I hated leaving it in last time, and it cost me about 350.
Anyone know any good places in Jersey?

Where did you get it done for $85??? Is this place better??
I got mine done in July and it lasted until November. I really need to get it done again though, so I booked another appointment with the lady in Westbury.....I'm wondering if I should try it with someone else...
