It actually WAS that bad.

I thought the concept was great but the execution sucked.

The acting was terrible. And the reviews for it when it came out said the same thing.

But I'd watch Gerard Butler in anything.

and this movie was nothing to write home about... just an entertaining action flick, which is what it was meant to be and nothing more

because for me I don't like stupid movies like this, they are for teenagers or simple minded people, I like movies where you have an amazing story and amazing actors, that's why I will never enjoy a movie like "bad boys 2" or "transformers" I just do not like them. However those kind of films can be great for example "inside man" or even "point break" "true romance" "state of grace" they were good enjoyable movies and nothing else but they weren't complete messes like "law abiding citizen" and whats stupid fucking title to boot. Tom me this film ranks with segal or van damme dvd films and im shocked butler and foxx signed on for such garbage.

this is why I enjoy classics and foreign film so much because those movies take you in not throw gore,stupid tag lines, RIDICULOUS stories and bad acting at you.
