Yea I watched some here and there. I question how a restuarant can be so disorganized. I worked as a waitress for 7 years and its really not rocket science. I've never seen a restaurant run so poorly before. I mean its a real restaurant and people are paying real money to eat real food there regardless of the fact that they are going to be on tv, so I have a hard time believing all the bullshit is happening purely for drama ratings. I just dont get it.

haha first of all, did you catch the episode where Rocco decided to employ the new serving method?? that was HYSTERICAL. they were all like fucking chickens without a head, all crazy, fucking up everything.. i was dying laughing.. they had some new chick start up and she was wearing open toe like high heels walking around.. i would have been so pissed off and would have told her to go home, im bossy and a bitch and you dont wear them in the restuarant business! you get the good fucking black shoes for the restaurant with the nice treads so when mexicans spill water or somoene drops food in the kitchen you dont bust your ass!
secondly, did you see where they demoted the one kid, i fucking forget his name cuz im a cracker, but hes that italiano hiphop comedian kid.. anyways.. that was soo for the ratings because if anyone told me to go be a dishwasher i would have told them to die.. he went down there like a champ and totally ran the business down there.. lol

a) most restaurants go through growing pains (especially when its the owners 1st restaurant)
b) tv makes everything seem a lot worse than it really is...
c) yes it is possible to run a business that bad and still be able to do business...

The Restaurant Business is not the smartest to get into. You guys want some statistics: Restaurant Failure rate is 27% in the first year, and 80% in the first 5 years a restaurant is open. These are not good statistics. Out of the total Food Service industry, Fine Dining is only .6% ofthe industry. Sad numbers but reality. TV is probably the only thing that will keep Roccos open.

yeah that is def gonna keep that place open tho, people love association with tv or fame.. if certan actors frequent a place often enough and location is key, the food could be 2 stars but will stay open

I heard about that as well. As for Roccos I found out in class today that supposedly there isn't going to be a second season with Rocco. Something about they might be getting someone else, or doing a different restaurant. I will try to find out more, this is all on what I heard in class from some other students.
