100% rent an apartment. Stay in playa den bossa. Don't go out before 1 or 2 am. Plan your trip so you go somewhere else in Europe after Ibiza so you have some time to recover and see other parts of Europe. Also, to fly back to NY there are only so many flights, a lot of them require you leaving Ibiza early in the morning to catch a plane back to the US. This is no bueno, the last thing you want to do after leaving a club is pack your stuff and fly home.

I booked my flight myself. The Jet Apartments are nice. They are in Playa en Bossa. Bora Bora is attached to them. That is important because you will spend a lot of tiem there. Space is a few blocks away. Disco buses to Amnesia and Privilege depart from Playa en Bossa and they are about 5 euro. A cab ride to those places run for about 10 euro. It cost 10 euro to go to Ibiza town where Pacha is. El Devino was nice, but it closed.
If you decide to see the sunset in San Antonio, I would take a cab to Ibiza town then take a bus across the island. Otherwise a cab will set you back 20-25 Euro. The sun set in San Antonio is nice because they have big name dj's spinning right next to the side walk. Eden and Es Paradis are located on that side of the island. They are nice clubs but cater to a young british crowd.
I brought all my tickets in advance because the clubs are expensive. It was easier to manage my money and it worked out well for me.
The staff at all the clubs are friendly. The clubs are very clean. They know how to handle a large volume of people and are pretty efficient at getting people in the doors. Overall I had a great experince in the clubs. The clubs in Ibiza know how to treat you. The United States could learn a thing or two from these clubs.
I was there for 8 days and went out 7 nights. This was easy because they are 6 hours a head of us. Going out at midnight there is like going out at 6pm here. The clubs close at 6am, which is like leaving at midnight here. I did sleep from 8 am until 2pm everyday.
My plan was to take in as much as I could from the scene and I did. There are other things to do, but I was not intrested. I slept in, had lunch went to Bora Bora, showered, had late dinner's went to pre disco bars then went to a different place everynight.
It was great. I plan on going back next September.

Dave S.- Excellent advise...i agree with EVERYTHING except sleeping in y our bed until 2pm. The weather is beautiful...get your heiny out of bed around 11 and transfer yourself to the beach- finish "sleeping" or "napping" there...get some color hehe
Oh and talk to Vix on this board because I know that she has hooked some people up and will lead you in the right direction with planning.

Lil Pookie, you are so right I should have spent more time on the beach, but I have never slept in a more comfortable hotel room. The people that I went with went to the beach around noon, but for some reason, I could not wake up.
