Sprint Cell Phones...

when someone claims their cell phone lost & since they have insurance-they get a new one automatically

my question is--- the old one is still present & it is not lost, can someone else use it to hook it up with their own #, but it must be with SPRINT

or SPRINT won't hook up the old phone since it was claimed lost bec it looks like i theifed it?

if u ever claim anything lost or stolen, and it really isnt... throw it away.

lets see...your friend can get charged with insurance fraud, and YOU can get charged with theft, and / or an accomplace in insurance fraud... not worth the time or the $$$...read his insurance claim contract, and u will nocite that there is bocu bucks in a false claim, and possible jail time.

shouldent be filing false claims in the first place... anyway.
