I don't see why people think this place is so great. Its mediocre at best. I have eaten there like three times at three different locations and the bread never seems that fresh, and sandwiches don't seem to have anything special about them. Little overpriced too. I totally prefer Cosi to this place. Anybody that really likes Panera???

i agree with you. i actually used to like the place but the food is just poor quality and it tastes of preservatives. i do, however, like their coffee and their pastries look decent although ive never tried them because pastries are for fat people and elderly

The best one is the 1st one that opened in Paramus Park

If you go to the one in Hoboken, find the Manager with the blonde hair and kick him in the face for me...Thanks

i actually LOVE Panera!
there soups are really yum.. i usually get that or a salad.. i'm loving the Fandango at the moment.. :hungry
i eat there like twice a week for lunch.. near Roosevelt Field..
i like it better the Cosi.. cosi's bread is a little too salty or something..

Haven't had their salads, but I am sure they are better than their sandwiches.

COSI kicks Panera's ass anyday and all day !

Panera - their sandwiches are TINY ! I don't need to pay money to eat a papar thin sammich when I can make them at home !

And Cosi - I love their square bagels !!

Cosi all the way !!!

agreed...i used to go to the one in West Orange almost every day for lunch when i was in high school. I'm obsessed with mandarin oranges which is why I always got the Fandango salad or whatever soup looked good that day.

However...I'm definitely partial to Cosi. Their spin dip rocks. The one on Broadway and 13th is a perfect people watching spot; wheneever I go there I see people I know walking by that I havent seen in years. Plus what can be better than smores and a chai lullaby on a cold winters night?

thats the one i go to :suspicion :ROTFL

i usually get a half a sandwich, soup/salad combo thingie --

the tuna sandwiches are really good, their salads are just OK..their bread bowls with broccoli cheese soup are too damn good :spitfall

i also like the different kinds of spreads and cream cheeses that they have for their bagels..
