Coles is gone, I dont see the Jets matching that. That 8 mil dollar hit sucks for Giants, they cant much in the offseason now. Hopefully Hugh will stay an Eagle.

Ur outta your mind. They picked him up for the reason that they want him for a long time. They had a great recieving core when they signed him but chose another reciever. Think about it.

yeah im outta my mind, skins gave him like 30 mil and a 13 million dollar signing bonus, yeah theyll match that without even thinking about it. Players today are looking for that signing bonus, there no more guaranteed comtracts.
If its that great of a deal, hed be there already. Coles is a true player, he cares more about winning.

I think they could have cut his pay and took less of a cap hit, he was willing. Im glad theyre stupid.
WTF you talking about Willis, he said he didnt want a pay cut thats why they released him. They offreed him less money and he said no. His fault because hes the most over rated playa in da game

Actually Coles is a greedy bastard.
The Jets gave him a shot 3 years ago when no one wanted to draft him. he has one good year and now he thinks he is Jerry Rice. The Jets are not going to re-sign him. Coles was bashing the Jets yesterday and bradway was bashing him back. Its over. Let him go to washington. The jets will be ok. They'll sign a free agent WR for half the price and re-build their D through the draft now that they are gonna have the 13th and 22nd picks.

No, he said he was "more then willing" to take pay cut and they still cut him. I let Darren field this one.
coles is not worth all that money. Hes a great posseisonal receiver at best. Doesnt deserve gamebreaker money.

Sehorn offered to take a pay cut but wanted too much guarenteed money and then turned down the giants offer.

Jets don't need to take that kind of a hit in the pocket for Coles. If they do, they're insane, because somewhere down the road it will bite them in the ass, for instance, if a few years from now they're too far over the cap to sign Pennington. This sucks for the Jets temporarily, but WR is a position that can be filled. Redskins are absolutely nuts for offering Coles this much money. They are the trendiest and dumbest team in the NFL.

so true. Teams are cutting good players, like the packers, because they do not know how to manage their cap. The early rounds of FA season the teams that jump out early are usualy the ones over paying and put themselves in a finanicial bind for future years.
Im LMAO cause Bill PArcels is already putting his old teams back together. First Terry Glenn, now Richie ANderson, I wonder who will be next.

don't forget about Maurice Carthon and Sean Payton joining the coaching ranks.
Guy makes me laugh. He doesnt go after top notch names, just strong players and somehow he gets to where hes goin.
