Half of my left hand has been numb for like a month now. Same sensation as when like your foot falls asleep. I also have less strength in that hand. Certain things I can do no problem like grip a bat. But a simple thing like turning the key in my car door is a little difficult. As to why this happened , well the only thing I can think of is I banged my elbow pretty hard at work and again at home. I thought it would have come back by now but WTF. I'm sure most will say go to a doctor but I don't have health coverage right now.

Anyone ever have a similar problem?

Health coverage or no I would go see a doc if its been a month. I could see a few days but a month..that could be something serious. Unless you have been banging your elbow everyday..cause yea that causes your hand to go numb.

A month is a bit long for pain resulting from banging your funny bone. If you know any doctors personally, ask them to take a peak at your arm. Get their opinion on whether you need any x-rays or such done.

Ever since my accident 3 years ago.. whenever i'm on my feet for too long BOTH hands will get numb with that pins and needles sensation as well.. only lasts for a few moments but it's annoying... All of a result of a neck injury.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your problem, but I just wanted to hear myself talk. :yourcrazy :lostit Thanks for listening.
