dont you live in merrick? if you do i think village streetwear sells them
but on another note i have mixed feelings about thos bracelets. i see a lot of people just wearing them as a fashion accessory rather then to raise awareness and support the actual diseases they represent. there is a store by me with a huge sign in the window that says "livestrong bracelets hot new fad"

a lot of people wear them to raise awareness as well as support, so i dont think that by you asking them their reason for wearing it theyd get mad
well my roomy wears a yellow one i think because her dad died of cancer and i DEF cant say anything cuz she would bust out crying..soooo:giveup

wearing a bracelet does not create awareness, awareness is action, not fashion.....read his book, visit a cancer patient ward, and understand what it is, how it can be beat, and learn that strength comes from within

but see, even you saying 'getting deep' really isnt what i was saying or trying to do at all......the yellow bracelet comes from lance armstrong, a man who has beat cancer and in the meantime has won the tour de france several times....he also started a foundation to help people with cancer.....the bracelet, which, yes, if you buy for a dollar youre donating it to his foundation....but instead, people are running around buying fake ones, more concerned about wearing one, then actually learning about cancer and doing something about it.....i knew of armstrong for sometime, being an incredible cyclist, but once i heard he wrote about his battles with cancer, which was a shock of course, i got his book.....now we have a ton of different bracelets and magnet stickers on the backs of cars, and all im saying is that theres a more effective way of helping yourself and others with these diseases, but anyway, whats important is the info on him, his foundation, look it up, learn about it, and spend a lil time toward it....its better than buying a bracelet

lol ok you weird people
the point of the bracelets is to support families with cancer
not lance armstrong
i think he is rich enough
he is just lending his name to the cause
go do something positive in your community to fight cancer, if you want i can give you a zillion different places you can donate your time
