Thursday: Remix Hotel around noonish then over to ncc day party and I think take the night off from the clubs

Friday: Clevelander all day, MAZE then JP late wherever the heck he's spinning

Saturday: Maybe Ultra Fest, X-Mix party @ Opium at night, then Deep Dish @ Space late if I have time b4 my flight

Well we are landing in Miami on wed. around 7p.m. so we will relax a little and then go to the space, thast what our freind recomended, i am don't really know dj's, eccept JP, hehehehe, so i asked him, on thursday defenetly the NCC party, will never misss it for the world. Thursday still up in the air. the rest of the week we will be with our friends, they have all lined up for them.

Well Tiesto, Picato dont spin in NY, plus I never heard JOHN CREAMER AND STEPHANE K , JAMES HOLDEN, DJ VIBE, JODY. THE SCUMFROG who all will be spinning at Maze on Fri. I heard all the European DJs working 4 years @ Twilo. So what if we are going to hear our favorite NY DJ's, sure we can hear them in NY, but we want to hear them in Miami, a different atmosphere. 2 Years ago I was @ WMC and I dedicated 2 days 5 parties to DJ like Taylor (LA), Christopher Lawrence, Dmitry from Paris, Doc Martin plus dozen more. Plus I hung out with Christopher Lawrence and Taylor @ Sasha's Suite in Roney Palace. I trully was bored at those parties, and regret for missing Victor Calderone party for that matter. So I just promised myself to go and have a good time.

I'm seeing mostly local NY DJs. There are others I'd like to see, but they're always in a list of like 20 DJs spinning at the same place, same night. I'd love to see Vibe, but I don't want to sit through other DJs. I would see Carl Cox, but he is just over and there are DJs I'd like to see, but I won't because my DJs spin reliable sets and I'd prefer to see them to ensure that I have a good time.

Of course I'd stop by and show face...say hi...but there is waaaayyyy too much talent that I never heard before at WMC for me to stay at those parties to hear what I can hear right here in NY.

Larry Tee has a residency in Brooklyn, but I've never seen him spin. I know he spins electroclash, which I'd like to hear, so I hope to check him out.

Larry is a great guy, fucking smart too. I got the pleasure of working with him @ Twilo like 5 years ago, at the meetings he use to crack me up. Will you have your camera with you, I want some pictures of him for the site.

Exactly...you explored and didnt like what you got out of those parties...Myself...I went to the Hooj party at Shadow Lounge years ago at the conference and that was in my top 5 parties ever. Not too mention all of the other dj's I got to hear for the first time...So it's different for everyone. At least you gave it a shot and now you'll stick to what you know you like best..but you only know that because you actually went and heard what the other parties had to offer. Nothing wrong with that...
Plus , there's so many more than those dj's that used to spin at Twilo...Obscure names from other countries, opening dj's from other countries that blew my mind that I've never heard of before the conference.

Tuesday-arrive, Wet Willies, 7pm-Hands On Deck @ The Marlin, ~1am go see the Tigerhook boyz at Level, ~2:30 go to SpiClub to See Mara Soundsystem & Anthony Pappa, ~6am over to DT(BUssssssssssy day)...lol

Wed-Relax during the day, get sum sun...Wed night Howells, Lawler, Porter @Shore Club @~ 8pm, then over to Level for the Dubcoast party sometime later....

Thursday-Switch off all day between the NCC party & Swamys party at Sabor(they are right next to each other), maybe relax that night, maybe go see Roger Sanchez @ MAZE

Friday- go to Clevelander for a little, then head down to NAked Music at Nikki Beach, then over to BBC party at Opium..
that night I have my party @ MAZE.

Sat- maybe Ultrafest, maybe just the beach...
Sat night Yoshitoshi Night, maybe the Xmix party beforehand @Opium.

AMEN to that! why on earth go down to the WMC if you're not going to check out and experience other genres of dance music? there's no other event like the WMC and it's all there for the taking. i know it's great to hang out with familiar faces, but spending most of your time hearing the same stuff from the same guys you're going to see the following week in NYC makes no sense. if you need some info on what events are taking place log onto the premiere WMC party guide at:

The Naked Music Party at Nikki Beach was my favorite party of the yr. last year at WMC. Ben Watt was off the hook, you can def. pencil me in for that one. Maze later on that nite sounds pretty hot as well, mind if i follow u around on Friday Andy ??? ;)

I hate the whole WMC experience the last two times I went...

YOoOoO U r so right on the $$! When I went 2 WMC 3 years ago. I only spent my time @ Howells, etc. I didn't even c JP. In fact, I remember hearing that JP's party was empty compared 2 every other dj's. I was 2 young 2 go 2 Clevelander, but LOVED Space the mostest. I am :) I opted not 2 go this year. IBIZAAAAA Here I come in Aug ;)
