Sad Story

My mom has a dog, a maltese...
The dog is a very happy & friendly dog...
She follows everyone all around the house, always up everyone's a$$...
So one day last week my mom & her husband were in the kitchen and of course the dog was in there with them, somehow my mom's husband stepped on the dog by accident and dislocated her hip bone...
And they just took her back to the hospital today because she has to be operated on...
Such a shame...I feel so bad for her :(

What difference does it make if hes not going to use it. Personally, If I wasnt going to have little rugrats someday I could give two shits If I had nuts. Personally, I never nuder an animal and I do agree with you but dogs are more succeptable to cancer in that area than humans. I dunno, thats what the fucking vet told me.

Ok firstly, you shouldnt be comparing cats and dogs to humans. When they have babies, they cant financially support them...we have to.

Secondly, there are so many stray cats and dogs in shelters being put to sleep every day. The stray population needs to be controlled so that innocent animals with noone to care for them arent murdered everyday.

And lastly, removing the reproductive organs of a cat or dog does not alter thier personality and this is a fact. I did alot of research about spaying before I gave Lulah in last night and that whole idea is in fact a myth. Trust me when I say, that someone who owns a pet, loves thier pet, and is spaying them in the pets best interest. It decreases thier chance for ovarian and testicular cancer. When a cat goes into heat, it is miserable. It cries and goes out of control.

So please stop with the antics....I find it very insulting that you would accuse any pet owner of trying to turn thier pet into "a cute little furball they can hug when having a bad day." Lulah was always just that before her surgery, and after recovery, I'm sure she'll still be as loveable.

i'm too tired to argue.. but there is nothing you can tell me that will make me believe that cutting off an animals testicles is a "good thing". and any guy will tell you that he'd rather be dead than lose his nuts.. i dont care what studies you have done, there is no way i will believe that removing an animals sexual organs will not have an effect on their personality.. i'm sorry it's just not feasible.. not mention that i've witnessed it 1st hand.

p.s. i'm not beefin wit ya, i just don't agree with buying a pet and then having surgery performed on it to remove parts of its anatomy to suit the buyers lifestyle.. i think it is cruel and inhumane.. people buy animals like they're buying a 57' chevy that needs some work. it's an animal, not a fix-er-uper..

She got the surgery today and they put a screw in her leg...
She has to go through therapy to learn how to walk again...

i agree emiL...dakota drives me insane in the membrane once a year but no way in heLL would i ever surgically fix her in anyway...not even declaw her and she tears my shit up...but she's an animaL and that's her thinG so i deal with it.

I didnt buy her. I rescued her from the street. I know you arent tryin to argue with me, but you are making it sound like I did what I did for my own personal benefit and thats just not true. I read up alot on it and I decided that it was the most humane thing I could do for her. I respect that you wouldnt do that to your own cat, but to tell someone they are going to hell for doing it to thier cat for the right reasons, isnt respected at all.
