Eastern Conference seems to be falling apart. Lakers winning 9 of 10 before last nights embarrassment in Chicago.

West is too stacked up front for the teams in the East to compete. I don't see any teams in the East matchin up with any of the top 4-5 teams in the West.
I thought the Pacers would have the best shot but they are falling apart quickly.
Western conf. playoffs will be exciting once again this year...and the Lakers will once more be the team to beat.
1rst round in the West is lookin like Kings vs Lakers...now we know why the commisioner changed the format to be a 7 game series instead of 5.

Gotta hope the Western teams beat each other up to the point that they're exhausted by the Finals.

yeah, wizards in the finals -- actually, there has been precedent for that. didn't the knicks make it to the finals against the spurs as an 8-seed?

were they really an 8 seed? I'll have to check that out.
gotta be some knicks fans around here who can confirm that.

yeah, that was probably the only time i've ever rooted for a NY team in any sport -- only cuz they were such a big underdog
