really doe, I'm spoiled rotten - I have cable modem @ home and T1 (stripped off of a DS3) @ work...

i never had the (un)pleasure of using 56k

i dont even want to get into the problems ive been having wit my cable at home, somtimes it feels like im using 56k, lets just say finally they figured out its the power, now i havew 18 of those little flags around my house and my grass painted neon orange

rotflmfao.......CUT THE GRASS AND MOVE THE FLAGS so that when they break a water line you can sue there ass......better yet, they might hit a gas line and then youll be toast. NM

are you kidding me ?!?! ... i dont mean to be a dick but youve never used a modem to connect to the internet ?? ... did you find out about the internet a few months ago ?? .... lets think about my own usage .... 2400 baud -> 9600 baud -> 14.4 -> 28.8 -> frac t-1 at school -> 56K on breaks -> frac t-1 in JC apt, and now cablevision's cable which is surprisingly the fastest of the bunch .... must have somethin to do with the fact that i now live in a community with people who use the internet @ 10 minutes out of the day ...

well to be 100% truthful i used 56k a handful of times on my moms pc at her house a few years ago, but that was it, never had on on any pc that i used regularly

and no i didnt find out about the internet a month ago, I only have a pc in my apartment for the last 2 years and i have had a cable modem from the jump - and i have been using a pc at work to connect to the internet for the last 6+ years and had T1 the whole time...so 56k was not necessary!
