(Wag the Dog style) I think the "truth" is so fluid that one can't help but tell the "truth" only as they perceive it. With that said, I feel the media "reports" the news with their particular spins to varying degrees. I think TV news is the worst kind because it involves aspects of the nature of TV that distort the news much more so than print news. In either case, it is up to the consumer of the news to make their own judgement hopefully based on balanced views. (You know ... no sensationalism, actual thought, some reason, some logic, etc.)

I don't feel that there's such a thing as actual truth; everything is just a matter of perception. The media reports what it sees or what it wants us to see. If I hear or read something from a news source I think of it as nothing more than an opinion or a perception. Too much information they talk about is misleading and too many people are gullible for believing it.

Their after what story is going to make the most money.

i think the media is totally depicting the truth, as you say wag the dog style, i totally believe that, they tell us what they feel is most important but i don't agree with that.

its all about politics and money. they don't really care about poeple the way they should, that just my opinion on that, please don't jump on me because i said that, its my opinion and nobody has to agree with that.

If you feel it's all about politics and money then how do you feel they are relaying the truth? For example, the government and media are on ephedra's case, saying it's a "killer." Do you feel that that is truthful? It might have assisted in a few deaths, but how does that make it a killer? What is your opinion on that?

You are only as good as the information told to you, and they def lie,. I feel like we are all missing the big picture when it comes to news, they tell us what they think we should hear, otherwise if it was something really bad it would cause mass hysteria.
