What's the deal? Someone said they were doing some major stuff but I figured it was just they putting the stage out back like they usually do...

Well its not renovations...they are opening a brand new space right up the street. it will be called Space34. Rumors are that opening night will be open this sat but it will be open for all of WMC events. Its bigger and has an outdoor patio on the roof....hopefully it will be done soon :D

danny is NOT playing in the new club even if it is ready.. way to many qwerks to be worked out in a new club for an event like that

Hmmmm, well than alot of people are gonna be disappointed...i dont know why management wouldn't get it together for the opening night for DT...

kinks are being fixed right now as we speak...and the trial run will be this Saturday...they have all day Monday and Tuesday to finalize whatever is wrong with the system...

it takes months usually for a system to really fall into its own.. i dont think danny wants to make that night into a beta test

I'm gonna get hanged for this, but whatever. Danny should just shut the fuck up. A good DJ can adapt to whatever he is presented with. Danny just bitches and moans until they change it to how he wants it. If I was him, I'd be honored to christen the new Space. Him and Louis go way back, so I'm sure the place will be up to his spec...bitching or not.

I expect DT @ Space 34 :)

It didnt open Sat., too many rumors flying around about the opening...who knows when it will be. I heard from the DJ who is helping to set up the sound system that it wasnt near ready on sat.....

well i hope it opens sometime during conference!

From what I know Danny is playing the final night at the old space and wednesday tiesto is downstairs and picotto is on the patio upstairs to kick off the new space.

everyone is entitled to their opinion ..the only thing that wasnt needed is the "shut the fuck up bitching thing"... you obviously have no clue of what kind of disasters , problems occur when a new venue opens

well actually space dont even have approval frim the fire marshell yet they are still yet to pass inspection..
as of saturday thet system wasnt working..
the sound guys at space fuckin suck ass and have no clue what they are doing.
anyway spaces new spot was supposed to open months ago but its 1 day before opening night at WMC and lest see what they do

any venue takes months to tune the sound to perfection.. diff sized crowds, temperatures, dj's and records all matter.

The fire marshal has approved the building...no violations on record. As for the sound system, I say, let Danny play on it and then he can tell Louis and co. what is wrong.

ok well the venue sucks..... it was exit in sobe ..... i had a good time as usual with DT but i was not feeling the venue at all

In my mind it's better than the old space. I'm not a big fan of the smoky warehouse concept. As for the underground feeling, that was never there...it's a bloody nightclub. Nightclubs aren't underground by definition. I'm glad for the high cielings, I can finally breathe.

def. looks like exit...and its waaaaaaaaay too bright in there

and whats up w/all the leaks? i had water dripping on me from all over the place, and the dancefloor had puddles of water on it grrrrrrr..that was for DD
