My Rane Mixer MP 2016 is acting up.
First one of the line in (line 1) got burned out, because I made a boo boo one time by conected it to the output of my pc to it instead to one of the aux.

Then a few days ago line 2 got burned out too, I don't know why....its just keep turning red even with a low audio input.

But now the line 1, that was burned out previously.....now it got fixed by itself.....
I really didn't do anything to it.

So please some, tell me what is excatly happened to my mixer ?
I'm not good in tecnical electronic/audio repair thing.
Why is that line 1 is fixed by itself....and now line 2 got burned, when I didn't anything weong to it ?????

I don't know what's wrong with it but we have a Music Forum, you'll get more help over there than here in the main forum

Flip the mixer over and there should be a button on each channel thats suppose to be pushed in... Make sure they are pushed in, if that doesnt work, then I dunno whats wrong with it...

I think, I know what it is .
Maybe from the heat of the lamp (75 watts) that about 1 feet above that mixer.
Let me move that lamp away from it, and see what will happen.
Thank you.

Yup, that was the heat from the lamp (75 watt) that causing the problem.
After I moved that lamp away from the mixer, so the mixer doesn't get heated by it....now my mixer is okay.
All the channels (line in and auxs) are working normal again.
It saved me for a few hundreds bucks, from not sending it for repair. (the warranty is expired). Yeah I'm happy now.
