according to drudge report:

Private telephone numbers of celebrities have been unleashed on the Internet after an apparent hacking into Paris Hilton's T-MOBILE SIDEKICK Address Book, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The FBI has opened an investigation into the hack, a government source said.

The DRUDGE REPORT has confirmed the authenticity of many of the unlisted and super-secret numbers: Private phone numbers and email addresses of Eminem, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera, Andy Roddick, Ashlee Simpson, Victoria Gotti, Vin Diesel, Anna Kournikova and many others!

One top star reached Sunday morning expressed total outrage at Paris.

"I gave her my number after we met in Miami, I did not know she f**king kept it on her cellphone!" the star explained.

A website posted the digits over the weekend, with the message: "I'm Sorry Bitch :) GG FGT SLT BTCH! HACKED BY THE NIGGAS AT DFNCTSC"

Also splashed in the hack, Paris Hilton's private notes, listed by date.

From Hollywood to Vegas to New York -- and back, Paris Hilton's notes, road directions, hotel and airline preferences are exposed.

Isnt this UPER old news ?

As I told someone yesterday .the list is DEF legit. I know 4-5 people on her list and that IS their contact info.

From what I heard ....the kid was already caught by the FEDS. He was originally trying to sell the info etc. Now, eh's working for the govenrment :ROTFL . .as usual...he;s more valuable to them showing them what he CAN do ..HOW he did it . .and HOW to prevent it ......than going to jail and doing it again.

I don't get how people feel comfortable backing up their contact databases on the internet like T-Mobile does. And I highly doubt this kid is working for the government now or was even dealt with by feds... all he did was get in with a password, that's not rocket science.

I think it's funny that the FBI makes this a priority, but was unable to stop the September 11 attacks...

No he didn't.. there was a seperate case a few weeks ago of someone hacking the entire T Mobile network and accessing peoples billing info including SS#'s, including a secret service agent's info. In Paris' case it was just her online account, where you get to backup your contacts and see your usage, etc. Find me a news story that says this kid is in deep with the FBI... it's a seperate story and you got them confused.

That sounds liek the story Im talking about. He, if I confused the 2 situations ..then, MY BAD.

I got it 3rd person .so, I MIGHT be wrong here. If you say you read that ..then, fine ..that's what it is. I just figured it was the same guy...BUT THAT guy then ..the one who did hack the whole system is the one who is cooperating with the Feds then.

Correct ?

Not sure about cooperating with them, but he did get bagged. The whole deal with Hilton doesn't even have someone to blame, it was just a sole incident, some random internet delinquent... feds won't be bothering with that. Here's the story with the real hacker:

Hacker who broke into mobile network pleads guilty
Wednesday, February 16, 2005 Posted: 11:56 PM EST (0456 GMT)

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A hacker who broke into the network of T-Mobile USA Inc. and accessed personal information on hundreds of customers including a Secret Service agent has pleaded guilty to a felony hacking charge.

Nicholas Lee Jacobsen, a 21-year-old computer engineer who now lives in Oregon, entered his plea Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. He faces up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced May 16.

The break-in targeted the network of Bellevue, Washington-based T-Mobile USA, which has 16.3 million customers nationwide. It was discovered during a broader Secret Service investigation.

T-Mobile acknowledged the hacker was able to view the names and Social Security numbers of 400 customers, all of whom it said were notified in writing about the break-in, which lasted at least seven months.

The company said customer credit card numbers and other financial information were not revealed.

Prosecutors alleged Jacobsen posted a notice on an online bulletin board that said he could look up the name, Social Security number, birth date and passwords for voice mails and e-mails for T-Mobile customers.

Jacobsen was accused of targeting the desktop computer of a Secret Service agent on his trail. The agent, Peter Cavicchia, was also a T-Mobile customer and sometimes used the wireless network to communicate about the case, unaware it wasn't safe.

Jacobsen was arrested in October in Orange County, where he used to live, and was later released on $25,000 bail.

Who said this was an FBI "priority"?? :floor
It clearly states "they opened an investigation", I am sure they have thousands and thousands of open investigations...computer hacking happens to be a federal crime, as are countless others.

The 9/11 attack responsibility falls into MANY MANY bureaus, people's and agencies laps, not just the FBI's.
