What's everyones opinions on this. Typically I will do 4 exercises, 3-4 sets per body part, usually once every 5 days or so. I feel that I may be overtariing my muscles, recently my muscles have been throbbing after my second exercise or so. I feel that i shuld be bigger, lol....just a thought

You have to be more specific. What body part are we talking about?

For me its chest: 4-5 exercises (12 -15 sets total)
Back: Same as chest
Delts: 3-4 exercises (10-12 sets)
Bi's: 3 exercises (9 sets)
Tri's: 9 sets
Traps: 4 sets

Thats only upper body.

why r u training your bi's more then ur back/chest? its opposite. bigger muscle groups should be hit harder.

for biceps i do

(superset) chin-ups / barbell curl - 3sets of 8, on 8th rep have a 10 second negative
preacher curl - 1 and half reps - 3sets of 8
standing DB concentration curl - 2sets of 12

How often do u do each body part....and it depends on the routine I am doing, to be honest i am not so concerned with my back ( i guess thats y) I mean its shaped well enough for me. Sometimes with the bigger body parts I am lifting so much that i get burned out.

if you dont train with consistancy, you can throw any routine out the window. key is proportion. i didnt see anything for your legs or anything and you need more for your back i think. but thats up to you.

well that was my old bicep routine. i workout everyday, check the thread RIPPED RUGGED AND DENSE for my routine
