View Full Version : Where Will The Jp Army End Up??

BULLET PROOF

Now completley displaced, with no fearless leader to follow, where do army set up camp now?

I'd say probably Crobar, depending on who they get to fill the sat night slot at Spirit. Although, I'm not sure if Crobar is dirty enough for those die hard degenerates...

I can see Boris nights there being a real fuckin disaster now with all these extra little crackajacks runnin around.

Be prepared to see an influx of spikey haired, sweat band wearing, a/x t-shirt 10 sizes too small, diesel jeans & sneaker sportin guidos who refuse to stop wearing those rediculous looking j-lo sunglasses at crobar next week.

the question is...

will they even get in to crobar?

crobar is not like spirit, if they see a fake id they wont let you in....

wasnt there a group of Samurai, the Ronin i believe, who were lead by their master. Unfortunately their Master was killed by their enemies, the Ronin then proceeded to track down and avenge his death. After this, having failed their master and with no further purpose, they all killed themselves.

**Disclaimer - No, I am not suggesting anyone kill themselves because JP doesnt have a weekly residency anymore.**

:floor I'll never understand sunglasses in clubs. I know people use them to hide the cracked-out-ness, but they also completely inhibit your vision. I almost took a header down the stairs at SF cause I thought the shades were a good idea :disgusted :chuckle

Corbar has implemented a new dress code, I was talking to Paul who does the door there last week and told me that they ain't having it no more with these kids coming wearing sneakers and tshirts,

he even dissed some kids while I was talking to him, pulled a Paris and told them this ain't Sound Factory,

all the kids from Spirit are definately not gettin in to Crobar with fake id's and the way they dress

I dont think I have ever heard anything GAYer that the "JP army"... lol

Even if it was the "Boris Army" or the "DJ Melissa Nikita Army" it would still be very gay.

Please someone agree with me here... every time I hear it and/or think of it, I think of Sid Vicious with pink hair and a bandana around his hollahoop which he is tunring around his waist... lol

I was told I couldn't wear a tank top one night over the summer. I was thankful because I didn't really want to go to spirit that night (Sander). I went to Spirit instead and had a blast. Didn't quite get it though cause I wore a tank top other times thereafter with no problem. Whatever, worked in my favor that night, anyway

Dress codes are far from being dressed up these days. Back when SF was the place to be, no one was getting in with Jeans on. Now a days, jeans and a nice t shirt is dressed up.....

Sneakers should be allowed everywhere now esp if people are weaking jeans...its not a fashion show when you go out, its about having fun. It should just be presented right and neat though.

Thank god I am not a huge fan of Boris and dont have to go out to Crobar every weekend...wearing shoes SUCK! esp if you try dancing.

Lex - I agree with you.

I love Crobar and one of the reasons is because of the dress code. There is a time and place for everything. When you go to Disco / Spirit / Show you can dress down and wear whatever.

I guess b/c I'm older if I go out I would rather see more mature ppl dressed nice (as in not sloppy). No offense to anyone, but I really don't care for guys who wear baseball hats to clubs.

Some younger guy I was seeing ...we met in a club and his hair was done nice. Then he started with this baseball hat thing. I told him in a nice way that he had nice hair, I liked seeing it, and not to wear the hat when we go out to a club. He didn't listen. I got rid of him. :booted He got no ass from me. LOL

No offense hun, but....
1)going out on a Sat night used to be considered a special occasion

2)looking nice is a sign of pride in yourself and depending on the circumstances respect for others

To me its sad that today people have such casual attitudes about how to dress no matter where they go. A wedding, broadway shows, plays, certain restaurants, etc, etc. What do ppl consider a "special ocasion" these days?

if I have good time at a club, I'll play along with whatever rules they set (within reason). Dress code is not that big a deal. Basically it's don't dress like you're going to the gym. I haven't seen any specific restrictions listed anywhere.

I hear what ppl are saying about wanting to be comfortable, etc. and that's why its good to have different types of clubs for everyone to choose from depending on what you like.

I go to Disco when Morillo plays there and that place is obviously far from dressy. I also go to places with a strict dress code if that's what I'm in the mood for.

went to spirit few weeks back for JP...plenty of shirtless guys...

gone to crobar few times over last few months, last being for tiesto, few young ones tried walking around shirtless, did not take long for bouncers to ask them to put there shirts on...

Dont have to be dressed to max, but no need for shirtless guys running around...

LISTEN, I CAN GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND BE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE WITH MY OUTFIT, AND DEF GET IN............

IT TRULY DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU WEAR, IT'S HOW YOU WEAR IT..............

DOORMAN AND BOUNCERS WILL ALWAYS LET IN GOOD-LOOKING, INTERSTING PEOPLE, OR PEOPLE WHO INSTANTLY DISPLAY THEIR MONEY SPENDING POTENTIAL AT THE DOOR..............

MOST OF YOU AREN'T AS FORTUNATE AS I AM, I WAS BORN THE FIRST TWO, SO I'VE NEVER NEEDED AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF CASH WHEN I GO OUT.............

IF YOU PREVIOUSLY BOOK A TABLE AT ANY VENUE, 95% YOU'LL GET IN NO MATTER WHAT YOU WEAR..............

MY VIBE AND INDIVIDUALITY HAVE ALWAYS DONE THE TALKING FOR ME AT THE FRONT DOOR, FOR THE REST OF YOU, FOLD A $50 IN YOUR HAND, SHAKE THE DOORMAN'S HAND WITH $50 IN HAND, SAY "HELLO" IN A FRIENDLY YET ASSERTIVE MANNER, THEN TELL HIM WHO YOU'RE WITH, MAKE SURE AT LEAST TWO ARE FEMALE...............

ALAKAZAM! YOU'RE IN.........

I LIKE EVERYONE WHO POSTS, BUT SERIOUSLY, WERE YOU GUYS BORN YESTERDAY???????

EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN TO APPRECIATE THEIR NIGHTLIFE, AND DRESS ACCORDINGLY.........

IF YOU DON'T GIVE A FUCK, THEN DRESS LIKE THAT AND LEARN TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES...........

IF YOU DO, THEN PROUDLY DISPLAY IT WITH VIBE, FLAVA, ELEGANCE, CLASS OR WHATEVER TERMINOLOGY BEST DESCRIBES YOUR FASHION SENSE, AND ENJOY ITS REWARDS.........
