I think I am the first one back... and I have never been happier to see home:)
I barely state my opinion or bitch at things, but there was a lot of drama this week:( People oding on G, people fist fighting, people fighting... Vacation and going out means getting away from all the drama, not creating it or adding to it. We all want to go out and have fun, so please leave it at that
Compared to last year... it SUCKED! The weather was great, but no Carl Cox:( It just seemed that everyone was into their own thing..... last year we were all together.
The PARTIES!!!!
Tues.. Ocsar G and DT@ SPACE- I had a great time here, but the new Space needs to move back to the old one.... it is Exit, Miami style:(
DT- started his set with this track called No More War- it states in the track about midtown being blown up by terrorist.... I have a problem with this track, b/c mid-town has not been blown up and I think that it is just asking for more war....JMO
Puff Daddy made a apperence.. he has a new track with Deep Dish:)
Wed.. Shawn Ink, Matt Hamburg, DJ Pride, James A. and Mike DirekT featuring Boca The music was of course very good! I loved the drums it gave such effect to the party and the venue was perfect. People seemed to come and go at this party, but I had a fun time. The drums made me stay
Thurs.. NCC Billboard party....:) This was my fav party! I had a blast seeing NCC members.... Buck who can hang???? LOL The music was awesome, Clevland, Shawn Ink, DJ Pride, Sheldon Romero, and Tooch.hmmm I think that is it! By 4pm we were all pretty wasted as you all can see in the pics:silly :silly :silly
Fri. Morn..Sky.... I had too much fun at the NCC party to make this one.. if anyone can help out thanks:)
Fri- Afternoon..Clevelander.. last year was way more fun.. and stop with the hip hop sets grrrr...
Fri- Night ... JP................................... South Beach style.... The crowd at the front door was out of control and it was packed inside too, but who cares cause the music was off the hook:) The lights in that place were really crazy.
I did not attend every party so I need a lil help... gracias
I had fun, but nothing comapares to last year, it was nice to see the Ncc peeps that I haven't seen in a while, and nice to meet the Ncc peeps that I haven't met before:)

Hey Drea!! I missed'ya this w-end my 'lil dancin' patna!! I just wanna say that u're opinion just stated is the reason I DID NOT go this year. I went 3 years ago when I was 19 and had the BOMB-@$$ time, but after that I seen how the WMC kinda became the WDC (Winter DRUG Conference)-LOL. There were always drugs but p-pl went more for the music not the drug festivities. Anywayz, I'm glad u got home o.k. w/ all thats goin' on now. C'ya soon :) *alySSa*

Ya know I almost went to SF this morning... LOL.........i really wanted to go cause I knew that there would be so much room on the floor for us. But I ended up sleeping until 5pm...very unlike me.
The whole scene has changed not just the conference. The drugs are a big part of it. E made everyone love each other...... just b/c it has that affect on people. But it seems that everyone luvs Tina more then E now and they are totally 2 different drugs. Lately people have been more into Tina, Lately there is more drama, Lately if two people fight everyone has to get into it. lately, no one dances anymore, no one is into the music. If it is all here is was gonna be at the conference. :buck

it was funny how when you removed yourself from the Roney palace and all the NY parties the WMC was such a more beautiful place to be.

2000 people in 1 room on Tina... i doubt too much fun is going on, loll

Massive amounts of paranoia in Sobe. DJ Pride was my favorite discovery of the week. Girl tore it up.
Best party: NCC party at Billboard- Best vibe I have seen on a dancefloor in a LONG time!
Best Music: Filtered Party at Luna
Worst Party: JP at Menage- I felt like i was in Hell. Gross crackheads everywhere you look. Not one song stood out in my mind. Maybe I was too busy dodging the K Monsters :rolleyes:
Maybe Im just getting old or maybe the scene has changed for the worse? I dont know. I had a good time, but it wasnt like last year at all.
Im still tan though..and thats all that matters!!:D :flickTong

although i didnt go out every nite i went to some great parties Away from NY and the Rooney Palace(i fell in love with roger sanchez at MAze).....lol i had a goood time but it wasnt one of my best times in sobe .....3 years and im retiring......HELLO ARUBA HERE I COME!!!!!
Although there was once good thing about the rooney palace(i visited it a couple of times bc i had freinds there) was making fun of some people that just stood out......lmfao
i had fun at space with dt until i got pushed away by a group of ny "sf" tool boxes trying to make a CIRCLE and knocked me out while they were doing there "mongoloid" dance....Oh wait i forgot they must fo thought they were COOL.....hahahaha

PVD was sick as hell but the NCC party was the most fun. I put on a drinking exhibition there.....the bartender couldn't believe the amounts I was drinking!!!!!!
I didn't stay at the Roney... Thank God for that... it is a beautiful hotel any other week I am sure;)
As for complaning... I heard a lot of it from the peeps who have been to the WMC in previous years, to me it was just not the same.

I am a WMC three year veteran and I can tell you that this was my last conference. Although I had a good time, I would have rather wasted my time and energy on a cruise with a few good friends.
Things just ain't the same.
P.S.: Best party was @ Billboard Live. OFF--THE--HOOK. And for anyone who attended the Filtered party...that label has some great talent.
