I havent seen the Pianist unfortunetly, but I heard that his performance in that movie was absolutely heart wrenching. I cant wait to see it. Just havent had the time yet....

the kid deserves it, he has been a great actor even in independent movies like "bullet". plus he is from brooklyn so the academy did the right thing imo.

you guys should fight about it... the winner gets 100 Ncc dollars and the looser has to take a picture with a dildo or somthing nutty like that......IMO... (just my 2 cents)

did you guys see both peformances? Daniel Day Lewis imo should have won... and Martin Scorsese is waaaaaayyyyyyy overdue for an Oscar whats up with that? Sorry guys ima a big movie buff :)
