Many people tend to neglect their mental health. Everyone needs to have an outlet to relieve stress. When people don't have an outlet, the stress builds up and this causes burn out. My outlet is throwing on my headphones and either going to the gym or going for a run. What works for you?

I enjoy goin to the gym to relieve some stress. I also like to design. I design anything from banners to websites to cds to magazine covers. I enjoy it and it lets me express myself.

meditation.....thinking clearly, objectively.....and getting in my car and leaving for a couple of days to no where in particular, i just head north or south or west for a while, stop at a rest stop and then pull out a map and go from there all the while cranking my fav cd's

i used to do the car thing when i lived in florida.. however i cannot do that here in brooklyn.. driving around aimlessly in this borough will only get me tickets and an aneurism (sp)

however you're in suburbia borough so that def. works for you :booted

no, no, no.....i drive up to maine, or way out in pennsylvania, or down to the carolinas

i crack open some books... gets my blood pumping... my mind wandering... the knowledge gain makes it alllllllll a-o-k :WINK when in doubt of my own library--- barnes and nobles hits the spot

and music.. fo shoe...:BoomBox

walking doesn't do it for me-- b/c if im really upset, ill walk so0o much(and breathe so0o shitty)... where this adverse reaction makes my body tremble :giveup
