Just thought I'd share a few stocks that have made me nice money and keep going up. In last year I've made about 39% on my overall investments.

CHK - Has been hot for almost 2 years and with oil rising plus strong investment in gas reserves I see it getting new highs through 2006.

NTO - small gold mining company (exploration). This is mostly speculative but for smaller investors that like cheap stocks and big gambles it doubled at one point for me. I sold, it's come down a bit and now is climbing again. It's scheduled to report on Aug. 15th and if it reports well should make a nice jump that day.

Anyway if anyone else invests on their own I'd love to know what you like.

All oil is hot. I bought a bunch of futures that look like their going to pan out nicely.

True .. I just sold exxon though and bought more CHK. Market is spoiled by Exxon and really doesn't respond to good news from them as well as CHK.

Decided to get into some identity recognition stocks as well.

with gas prices rising definately a smart investment, esp. futures contracts. whats the barrel of crude oil now, around $65?
