One of my favorite movies ever!!

The movie takes place near my home @ Five Towns in Long Island, NY...

Gritty look at deceit, friendship and violence among young, Jewish gangsters in Long Island, centering on the streetwise Trevor who returns home from prison after serving as a fall guy in a bust and rejoins his friends, weak-willed Andy and thrillseeker Billy. When he's released from prison, he finds that one of his chums has taken up with his girlfriend, which leads to a series of explosive altercations. Under the guiding hand of an aging mobster, the would-be wiseguys betray one another to tragic ends.

definantly worth watching! It was one of Mira Sorvino's 1st movies.

OMG ~! i cant believe u said that, i thought i was teh only one to see it ... def a fav of mine , mut have seen it a million times. u just reminded me to look for it on dvd, cuz i wore about my video !

they filmed that near my high school in valley stream, the pizza shop was steve's pizza on mill road for all you long islanders. it was a good movie. i also like trees lounge by steve busemi, another local film

that's what steve busemi said his life would have been like if he didn't get out of valley stream. was that the real name of the bar? i heard the movie was shot in a different bar, but that could be just town rumors.
