Who is more valuable to THIS Yankee team??? Jeter Or Rivera???

Itis a good debate, especially with their bullpen being a underachieving as it is thus far....

they are getting hits, and runs now , but no doubt would improve with Jeter in the line-up and in the field... not to mention his work ethic, leadership, and playing through injuries mentality....

But I think in the end, they have a better chance of winning the close games with Rivera there to close it out, then they do if they had Jeter and not Mo.....

what you people think????

Again, I am talking abotu right now, the ball they are playing so far. MO would be more valuable IMO...

BTW, we should try and pick a day and get a NCC Yankee outing together... Maybe a Sat. afternoon game or something....

what you guys (and girls) think???

Rivera no question about it, they dont win any of those championships without him

Bullshit,

Wetland would have easily finsihed out in 96..Jeter is way more Valuable A: Because he brings a shitload more money to the
Franchise and
B. Because he plays nine innings a game not 1 1/2 - 2
for the money that theyre paying him.

Maybe they could have won another if he wasn't pitching against Arizona who knows the "ifs" and "whats". People are starting to figure him out and he is nowhere near the threat he once was.

96 he was probably the team mvp, he pitched the 7th and 8th inning that year and made it a 6 inning game, im not taking anything away from jeter and everything he brings to the team but the bullpen was the #1 reason they won all those years

excluding the game 7 we all suffered thru Rivera is the most dominant playoff relief pitcher ever!

They are both equal as in terms of what they mean to the team.
Jeter does all the little things offensively and defensively. The thing about the yankees is that no one person is bigger than the TEAM!!!!!!
They all bring differnt things to the table and that is what makes them what they are.
I think the yankees miss Nelson, Stanton, O'Neill, Tino, Sojo, Giradi.......

those guys were all money....
