, but how much do you tip someone who is doing handywork in your apartment? is it like tipping a server, bartender or hairdresser? (20%) i am having someone assemble and build my closets for me.

they dont??? i always tipped my super, etc. i am so afraid of undertipping, that i always overtip though

depends on the work. If it's minor, quick work. 10 bucks. Heavy labor/long work, 20.

If theyre not getting paid, well maybe something...

I can see like movers, bartenders etc...

But Handymen? I dunno, maybe I never been in a position to so I have no clue...Disregard what Im saying..lol

so its just like a flat 20? i am thinking like half a days work. he is assembling those massive wardrobe closets.. 2 big and one small. he is a friend of one of my neighbors so its an under the table job. i didnt know if i also tipped him on top of this

tip the electrician tooo ! :yipee :heart tips. its cool when i get tips but im happy with a glass of water . or 10 buks for lunch .. nothing is expected so anything is cool .!
