What a great show!!!
Surprisingly Alanis Morisette opened for them--she looked great! She sang all of her hits, and even sang Seals-Crazy, which is her "favorite song" from the Gap campaign.
We had suites on the 8th floor in their suite boxes...un-freaking-beleivable...what a way to watch a show/game...it was catered, full stocked bar...air conditioned! haha...
We watched Alanis from up there---then went down to the second teir where we had first row right near the middle of the stadium....GREAT seats :agree
The Stones opened with "Start me up" ---great song to start with...everyone was on their feet... :schwenk
let me tell you Mick is amazing---that guy is definitely over 60 and ran around the entire stage with more energy than a 16 yr old... :agree
A few highlights from the show---
They sang Ray Charles' "Is the right time"----wowowooww what a freaking song...the backup vocalist that sang the "BABBBBBAYYY" part was amazing....i was in awe :wowsers
Then they had an entire portion of the stage roll out to the middle of Giant stadium---everyone was going nuts!...i cant even remember what was being played because i was so blown away..--and as they were coming out---an enormous blowup tongue blew up out of the main tv screen---with all these psychadelic type colorful flowers on it.... :lostit
Keith Richards got on the mic for a while smoking a cig---and let me tell you...that guy is whacked...and scarey looking :scared
Out of Control....was just that...out of control :chuckle
Satisfaction even got my dad on his feet :keke
Their first encore was "You cant always get what you want" which was amazing --lighters up in the air and everything lol :heart
We left in the middle of their last song to beat the traffic...but as we were leaving twe saw a shitload of fireworks go off from the parking lot
Definitely my 2nd favorite show ive been to---(Elton John and Billy Joel are still my number 1 :heart)
