looked good last night. Finally broke out of that scoring slump in the playoffs. Lets see if they can get more than 2 by Lalime next round.

The flyers have another tough one ahead. They looked real good last night. They played smart hockey and didn't take stupid penalties. They have to play that way in order to beat the sens.

The flyers are going to Romp all over the Senators and there get there asses handed to again in game six by no one other than Nj's finest.

so he's not the best goalie for the playoffs . . . honestly, the biggest mistake chicago ever made was to keep eddie b. and let hasek go. i would have given belfour the heave-ho after getting swept by the pens in the cup finals back in 92.

Not for nothing....but belfour is a great playoff goalie....I think he is 3rd all time in post season wins....

Wrong......Belfour is 6-1 in Game 7's....

He has 83 career playoff wins.....Thats solid!

No matter how good/bad the guy is, hes got a cup under his belt which most goalies will never see.

ok, maybe they weren't game 7s, but i remember when the blackhawks had a killer record in the regular season then got beaten by the north stars in the first round, then, they got swept by the pens that one year in the finals. then there were those heartbreakers lost to detroit. i don't care how well he did on the stars . . . maybe those heartbreakers are just so vividly etched in my mind that i can't see the overall picture of how successful he really is during the playoffs.

I'm actually rooting for the Devils. ONE, Flyers / Devils finals conf finals again would be awesome and, TWO, playing Tampa Bay in another conference finals would give me nightmares for two weeks.

They never played TB in a conference final. They have only played them in first round...Keep in mind, TB has only ever won one playoff series and that was against the Capitals this year. They have played the Devils I believe twice in Conference final and the Devils won in 6 andin game 7
