Always sick..

I eat well, take vitamins, excercise, etc.

I believe myelf to be very well taken care of and healthy. However. I've been sick far too many times these past 6 months. I've had strep throat 5 times in 6 months. And, recentley I was diagnosed with minor asthma. :(

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong and why my doctor doesn't have an answer for why i'm sick so damn often.

Anyone have ideas of what it could be and other ways of preventing sickness?

As John said, sleep, but I'm a strong believer in antioxidants. I've been taking these things for years and rarely get sick. I don't mind hanging out with sick people because I know I won't catch anything.

If you don't take these, try these for starters:

500mg Vitamin C
400 IU Vitamin E (take with food)

I promise you'll notice a difference and not be sick as much.

im always sick too....i have a horrible immune system....i recently got my nose fixed (surgery) and i have been fine i had lil mino cold but nothing like i used to have

Yea... I have that too Kriss. Two cysts in my nasal passage/sinus(A deviated nasal septum) Hmmm... Have to have them surgically removed.

I'm on so many antibiotics, it's ridiculous, it's killing my stomach. Makes me feel horrible.

I take Vitamin C. Eat them like they're candy. Vitamin E, nope... But, a multi vitamin, yes.

Oh and I sleep very very well. Get my 8 hours a day. During the week. And, on the weekends if I don't go out, I usually get the 8 hours aswell.

i had my adnoids taken out, dedviated spetum fixed and my sinuses drained.... i still get sinus infections alot but not nearly as painful as they used 2 be i can at least function when im sick....i go ever 3 weeks to get my nose injected w ith something that stops my nose swelling...i too live on antibiotcs my body is immune to them only time anti biotics work is if im on it for at least a month to fully kill the bacteria if im on it less i relapse after a week or 2....i used to go for allergy shots every week but that was just a hassel now im o allegra D its ok
