I am speechless, it was so damn good. In my opinion it topped last week and ended the season really nicely and making you want more. Can't wait till next season, I have been searching all over the web for info on when the next season will be.

Is there a next season? I can't believe Octavious didn't shank Sevilla while she was talking to Attia like that. If there is a next season I can see Vorenus being one angry nasty fuck, Marc Anthony too.

God, that was a great episode... but why didn't they have Ceaser say "Et-tu Brute"? as his last words... That has to be the one of the MOST famous sayings in history... can't believe they left it out!!
Anyway, wow... and where's Martin? His woman offed herself, wanna make sure he's ok... :keke

well as history has it, rome will fall into antoher civil war. with Octavian , the senate and even Marc antony squaring off.. and with Octavian coming out on top. this is also when the tragedy and romance of Cleopatra and Marc antony occurred.
i am a geek and was a history nerd :shuffle

Marc Antony also marries Octavius, and Brutus, Cassus&Cicero all commit suicide while being hunted down by the Triumvirante, since we're ruining surprises.

The scene of the stabbing Caesar was nuts, real bloody and he did a good job dying, acting wise......

the quote is from Shakespeares play "Julius Caesar"...i doubt he actually said that...
althoughit looked like he was trying to say something when he looked up at Brutus right before he took the final stab...so maybe if we can get some lips reading to lookinto this...:spyguy

i personally felt the most intelligent part of it all was HOW they actually did the ending of the episode . . . no real dialogue (with the exception of Brutus's yell), just images . . . caesar laying in a pool of blood, the senate still in the aftershock of the adrenaline rush; vorenus holding his dead wife as young lucius comes in holding a toy sword (shows how vorenus is his role model); pullo coming to a sort of peace with himself and Ereni reaching out to hold his hand as they walk off . . . all very powerful images with no actual words -- very tastefully done.
eventhough i knew it was going to happen, i was still deeply saddened by what they did to caesar . . . a true tragedy -- he was trying to unite the whole empire, but those greedy fucking old schooler senators didn't want to share the power of the republic with foreign and lower class elements in their society.
