I dont really know how to get there. Help. :plead

It looks like the A train goes almost all the way there....
Is it a pain to get from there to the airport?

Also, does anyone know if I can get on the A from the WTC?
Kinda looks like I can only catch the E from there....
Do I need to transfer or is there a way to just walk underground somewhere. :disappoin

Gracias. ;)

The E goes to JFK. It's the last stop, then you take a shuttle :) The A does too, just make sure you get on going the right way. See:

I took the E home from JFK last week

I believe the A train goes to JFK.

But be careful, there are 2 A trains.
One that goes all the way to Howard Beach.

Just ask the guy/girl in the token booth.

I cant get your link to work. But I woudnt want to take the E all the way up and through town if I were at the WTC.... I just want to know if I can get ON the A from WTC and also about that whole 2 A train thing. Thats what confused me when I was trying to read the maps. :shuffle

You're better off taking the A train.

Ask the guy/girl in the token booth (At WTC) where you can get the A train going to JFK.

ok I live on the A line..take the Far Rockaway A train to Howard Beach. Then you can take the air-train (its almost like a shuttle bus but a train) to the airline you need to get.. its not hard.. just remember NOT to get on a Lefferts Blvd train, it doesnt go to the airport..

btw, where are you catching the E train cause that runs parallel from the A up until Canal street..

I dont want to catch the E at all.... I just happen to know it starts from the WTC.

I am taking the Path to the WTC, which is like a 4 minute ride from my apartment.

I assume I will see some signs for the A.... Or I will ask at the booth, cuz on the map they dont totally seem to connect at the same place. I dont think its TOO far, tho?

I am going to write down all that other stuff about the A's right now tho. :agree

you can catch the A train at Broadway-Nassau which is like 4 blocks from the WTC and take the Far Rockaway or Rockaway Park A train to the airport...you will definitely see signs for the A train or someone at the booth will be able to direct you from WTC.. you will know you are near the airport when the train goes outside.. once outside you are 5 stops away from the airport..

Aww, thanks Joey.
Although figuring out the LIRR would be just as tough for me. :keke

I have no idea what the fees are, probably a lot more than that from Jerz tho.
And since I have to take the train partway I may as well just figure out how to do it the whole way there! :giveup

Go to:
http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/

Maps, Subway. You can take the A to JFK, but make sure you get on the A - Far Rockaway - Mott Avenue Branch. Get off at the Howard Beach/JFK Airport Stop.
