So I'm telecommuting today so some guys can come paint my place today. Originally supposed to be here at 8 call last night say 1. Ok whatever, 3 o'clock rolls around, nobody there no word nothing. I call the manager he calls the guy, guy calls me says he's at the paint store he'll be there in 1/2 hour, ok whatever 5 o'clock rolls around, still no word, i go online google the paint store, its .753 miles away. Yeah. Finally guy calls me and says we're nothing going to get there today we got stuck in traffic. Yeah. So now this guys boss is supposed to call me, but I'm caught between wanting to get the fucking thing done with or do I really want to give this hairbrain operation another fucking chance. :wallbang :wallbang :wallbang :wallbang :wallbang

Unless you have a contract with these fuckers, Id say dump em. JUST for the simple fact of lying to you. Traffic ? in Bayonne ? at 3-4pm? CMonnnn lol

At BEST, I would NOT let them start any work til you negotiate SOME kind of discount for them INCONVNIENCING you already out of ONE workday ..and now having to to do it AGAIN.

yeah the paint shop is right over on 440. It takes me like 5 minutes to get there with traffic. The boss hasn't even bothered to call me yet. I'm fuming.

but seriously ..fuck em ...I would DEF shop around ..it shouldnt be hard to find something else....thenn, threaten to cancel on these guys if they don't lower the price AND show up on time next time.

You KNOW I know this area ..so if they were on 440 ...Im assuming at Home Depot or Lowe's ...they're like MINUTES away from you.

What DID happen is that they ran late for whatever reason ..prob finishing another job ..and then realized that even if they DID get to your place by 4 pm ..they wouldnt finish today and would HAVE to come back tomorrow anyways.
