for some this would be the start of a career. He's obviously not involved in the underground anymore..there's very few in NY that are.. He just wants to dj and make money and he does that spinning whatever he wants.
JP did and still would do KTU, David Morales does KTU, lots of good djs' do KTU.
Commercial is where it's at for the majority of dj's in NY..it's a money game now.

Earth is nasty and everyone knows it, so it's not like he has the biggest following there. Maybe he is hoping for the old Twilo space now that it is opening up again, but I'm sure it won't happen. with extremely loud music every weekend of his life for a very
long time; he just wants to spin something that will keep him
sane and happy while maintaining his aftehours image. I personally dont like his music, more specifically his production, but then again ive never heard him live. Im pretty sure everyone on this forum would sell out given the right circumstances, which is precisely what JV encountred. Dont forget, for a long time JV kept it real and would not do gigs oveseas - I dont think he still accepts offers- so in a way isnt it time to actually say hey man, you paid your dues and you deserve a little retribution for all your contributions into my drug induced musical orgasms. Dont give me bullshit and say you rock out to Larry Levan or Frank Mancuso; JV, DT, and JP are your witch doctors, you real inspirations, your true guides around the most precious and by far the most grand real estate of all.
