Does anyone know what it means to be on the "House List" for a club? Does it mean the people are comped?

Ya but a comp is a comp. A "list" can be shiesty.
We went to Pacha opening night. As you know it got shut down. So we were told we could go back anytime for free. So anyhow we decided to go back this Saturday. My friend contacted Pacha and they emailed her back saying that we were on the House List. Being that all of us who are going have been around and know how SHADY clubs can be, me friend was weary of the whole "House List" title. So I just wanted to check that nowadays ...House list still basically meant "comped".

The House List does NOT necessarily mean ANYTHING.

The *House List* is a guestlist where emnployees of the club can put people on the list. It just makes it easier at the door so as to not have people asking for a million and one names of guestlists ..just *The House List*

If they TOLD you it's comped ..hopefully, it will be. Depends on who put you on, how much tye respect their pull, WHO'S doing the list at the time, what time you get htere possibly etc.

In THIS case, I would assume they would honor the comps since it's stemming back from that situation with opening night.

i was on a house list for a few spots for a long time.... just meant that i was on the list, (comped) every week, even if i never made a mention that i was coming.

...although i did go every week, so they knew they'd see me :chuckle

it doesnt neccassarily meana comp house list just means a guestlist compiled by the club and not by an outside promoter.

Suzie, you asked us this via email at info@pachanyc.com. We did respond on 1/30 that yes, in this case, your being on the house list was for comped admission.

House List For Us Is The General Guest List. Like If Someone Calls The Club And Asks To Be Put On The Guest list They Will Be Put On The House List.

Doesnt Mean Its A Comp, Usually Its Not. Usually Its Just Tallied Up As Reduced Admissions. Name Doesnt Even Have To Be On It.
