13% doesn't seem like a big number, until you take into account of what number 13% is.

A poll conducted for The Times of London give shocking insight into the mindset of Britain's Muslims. The question that begs to be asked is, are Britain's Muslims more 'radical' than your average Muslim in the rest of the world?

There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world. Below are poll results for Britain as well as the projected percentage of the global Muslim population. There are 1.6 million Muslims in Britain.

13% of British Muslims think that the four men who carried out the London Tube and bus bombings of July 7, 2005, should be regarded as “martyrs”. Out of 1.6 million that's approximately 208,000 Muslims in Britain that believe the 7/7 jihadists are martyrs of Islam. Projected to the global population, that's 156,000,000 (one hundred fifty six million).
7% agree that suicide attacks on civilians in the UK can be justified. That's 112,000 Muslims in Britain; 84,000,000 (eighty four million) world-wide.
2% would be proud if a family member decided to join al-Qaeda. Sixteen per cent would be “indifferent” 2% of 1.6 million is 32,000, 16% is 256,000. Globally that's 24,000,000 and 192,000,000.
If you're actually reading this, you may wonder what the point of pointing this out is.

It's not to make Muslims look bad. They do that on their own. But everytime you hear some talking head try to tell you Islam has been highjacked by a tiny minority of extremists, keep in mind how large that minority is amongst a population of 1.2 Billion people, or amidst your own population here in America. There's about five times the number of Muslims here in America as in Britain.

Imagine a Million American Muslims who thought the 9-11 highjackers were 'martyrs'.

When American Muslims start planning and carrying out jihad attacks like the one attempted in Canada a few weeks ago, or like the one these Muslims carried out in London...what will we do?

thisis what i call propoganda buddy. the poll slected a sample of british muslims. It all depends where the sample is being taken. Im pretty sure the guy doing the research went to islamic sites that would appear to have that view. You know muslims having long beards and such. and he got about 13% if u ask the regular muslim to take a poll im pretty sure hes gonna be like the regular christian or jew when asked to take a poll; hell tell you i busy buddy. and walk right past you.
