Just finished watching the bush blair confrence on cnn.

Even though i did not agree with what blair had to say you can sense that he knew what hes talking about and knows the dicotomy of the middle east, he broke down the results and why they are doin gwhat they are doing.

Ofcoarse i didnt agree with him but he seems to be making a rational point. While good ol bush was singing like a parrot. People want to be free, people want liberty, blah blah blah same shit he said in iraq.

seriously i m still shocked that america voted for this idiot.

Im not though. During the election I was an undergrad at NYU and everyone was convinced that Bush wouldn't be re-elected. I even told my family in France who said would never return to the states if Bush was elected that he wouldnt be because Americans dont like him either. But we were the minority. There were, and I am afraid are STILL, a lot more Americans who support this man. I come from a very Republican family and am embarrassed to say that even I once supported Bush. But these people who still support him are not changing their views whatsoever. And i find that to be strange considering all the negative things this administration has done. But then again thats what happens when you dont open your mind to new ideas.

I entirely disagree. I wasn't hugely impressed by Kerry, but the man CLEARLY was more intelligent and well spoken than Bush. Bush isn't even republican, guy doesn't even have the slightest clue what the word means...or what conservative means either.

If anyone who voted for Bush can look back in hindsight and say they'd do the same again they deserve to be shot.

I vote for the candidate, not the party- they're not all the same. Some are far worse than others lol

Why did so many turn out and vote in afghanistan and iraq?? they obviously embraced the elections proving Bush was right..Just like Reagan was right when he directly spoke to and inspired the people of Russsia Poland East Germany and all the spineless Libs were screaming how Reagan was a war mongerer and going to start WWW3 ..Many said the same about Churchill who pleaded and warned the people of europe that Germany must be stopped..Abe Linocln was not only Demonized and hated in his belief that slavery had to be abolished and history proved he was right although many people gave their lives and the country was on the brink of collapse ...Why do so many young Iranains hate the mullahs??? Why did the people of lebanon only 3 months took to the streets and reject syria and was becoming very pro-western..Why do cubans risk their lives comin to america in a makeshift boat or why did they take to the streets and celebrate yesterday when Fidel Castro fell critically ill

The incident in Lebanon is horrible and war is hell ..lets just state plain facts and no opinions here Israel retreated from the Golan Heights in 2000 gave land back that was captured as a gesture to form peace in the middle east. At the time The UN had drafted a resolution stating that hezbollah must disarm and installed UN peacekeeprs on the border..We now know that during the 6 years Israel had retreated Hezbollah had completly embedded it self their and this is why they have compiled 13,000 missles launching pads right under UN peacekeeprs. Why?? the answer is simple Hezbollah's own charter calls for the complete destruction of Israel..They have murdered and kidnapped mostly civilians as most terrorist organizations do ..You see the difference is this war would not be happening if the UN did its job or if Hezbollah did not kidnap the israeli soldiers and shoot missles into israel..Israel responded and reacted like any nation would. Israel has given land back to palestinians they evacuted gazaand what has happened since??It seems the more land israel gives back the more they are attacked ..So my Question to you is we know hezbollah and Hamas support the complete destruction of the israeli state. All were considered aggressive war-mongerers

All had that built in instinct that the human soul was meant to be free and meant to progress through self goverment as opposed to dictarships, facist regimes etc..
John F Kennedy also had that instinct ..All of these leaders philosophys were similar in the fact they fought wars not just military wars but psychological wars to empower people ..Reagan was Genius in the fact he went into eastern europe and soviet union and did something no other leader had done ..He spoke directly to the oppressed people living in communist regimes his speeches were so powerful and moving it had inspired the common man and woman ...These were people who were proballly never inspired before since their birth the govt censored all information they had available..When Reagan Said these walls must come down look at the reaction of those crowds..All the while he was funding afghannis to defeat russia, he led a brilliant proxy war and he succeded in the diplomacy phase with out dropping one bomb

One things liberals do not understand is their enemys at all ..Very rarely do we see in the western world the real images of life in israel we never really saw graphic video of 9/11.Liberals try to reason, and justify terrorist activities because they are portrayed as victims ..How many muslims have been murdered by Sadaam or Arafat?? was Arafat more responsible for palestinian suffereing considering he never built schools, let women be eductaed, censored the populations media, state sposored cartoons brainwashing children depicting jews as pigs and infidels?? the culture of terror in which the more innocent life is lost the greater the victory??
