    Power Walking vs. Jogging/Running

What are opinions on walking vs. more strenuous activity, such as jogging/running? it seems like every trainer i talk to prefers power walking, on a steep incline... can someone explain to me why?

(ps. i almost fainted @ the gym today, i had to sit down next time i should probably get more than 1 1/2 hrs of sleep & eat something more than just a plum. )

walking is natural. walking on an incline is better. interval training is best.

i was sick on wednesday, i didnt eat anything all day and then i had a strenuous workout i threw up
It is incumbent on you, yes You, to educate yourself to a sufficient extent that you are in a position to evaluate information issued from a position of authority. You are supposed to be able to recognize silly bullshit when you hear it.

the trainer guy makes me use this belt thing that you put around your chest, like right below the boobies, and it sets your workout for you and switches around the incline, speed, etc. accordingly... it's very weird
