    Samba, Tango & Inca Empire

So I finally booked my South America trip I've been talking about for ever, I'm going Jan 17th here's what it looks like:

    DAY 1: RIO DE JANEIRO
Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Rio is considered by many to be the world’s most beautiful city. Rio is woven between 20 miles of white sandy beaches trimmed by green, rolling peaks. The most beautiful and famous of these beaches are Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at selected hotel.

    DAY 2: RIO DE JANEIRO
After breakfast, morning departure crossing over the traditional residential area of Cosme Velho and disembarking at the Corcovado railroad station to take a train ride through lush forest up to statue of Christ Redeemer, which stands 38 meters high and 710 meters above the city. Return via panoramic road to the Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana Beaches.

    DAY 3: RIO DE JANEIRO
Today we will have a tour to Sugar Loaf. This tour begins with a panoramic drive through downtown Rio, passing by the Sambodrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral that is a modern cone shaped building with internal diameter of 96 meters and height of 80 meters. also driving by the traditional Cinelândia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. By taking the Aterro do Flamengo, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca where it is located one of the largest symbols of the city: the Sugar Loaf. This visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first cable car takes passengers to Urca Hill which is 215 meters high and from where one can have a beautiful view from the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge and Corcovado hill. From this stage, a second cable car will be taken up to the top with 395 meters to find a splendid view from Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 4: RIO DE JANEIRO - BUENOS AIRES
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

    DAY 5: BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast, begin your day by getting acquainted with the city of Buenos Aires, also known as the “Paris of Latin America”. You will visit the major attractions of the city, including the Plaza de Mayo, Avenida 9 de Julio and the famous Italian district of La Boca. Afternoon at leisure.

    DAY 6: BUENOS AIRES
Today provides you with the entire day free to continue exploration of Buenos Aires on your own. In the evening, experience one of the true highlights of your tour, a Dinner & Tango Show. The Tango was born in Argentina, and a visit to one of the tango show houses features the best artist and dancers accompanied by traditional Argentine cuisine.

DAY 7: BUENOS AIRES - LIMA
After breakfast transfer to Buenos Aires’s airport for your flight to Lima. Arrival at Lima’s airport. Reception and transfer to your Hotel. Overnight.

    DAY 8: LIMA - CUZCO
AAfter breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco. Arrival, reception and transfer to your Hotel.

In the afternoon, we shall visit this magical city riding through the main streets with their Inca walls. We shall discover the Cathedral. Inside, we shall find beautiful cedar wood carving such as the choir and the Pulpit, as well as the paintings of Cusco School, and some objects made on silver. We shall also visit the Qorikancha or Sun Temple; called today as Santo Domingo Church. Then, we shall visit the four archaeological sites that surround Cusco: the Saqsayhuaman Fortress, amazing and huge stone construction, this place has a great cosmic energy: that is why people think it was an astronomic observatory and an Inca oracle. We also visit Q’enqo, a place that was used for worship and ceremonial centre. Then Pucapucara (small red fortress), finally Tambomachay or the Inca’s Bath, spring of crystalline water.

DAY 9: CUZCO - MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast and transfer to the station to get aboard the train to the citadel of "Machu Picchu", the Sacred City, considered as the New Spiritual Center of the World. We will go through the corridors, visiting the ceremonial centers and terraces. Overnight hotel in the town of Aguas Calientes in accordance with the selected category. Lodging.

DAY 10: MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Time to have a new visit to the citadel to meditate and absorb the energies flowing in such a sacred place, having the opportunity to climb the Intipunku mountain, entrance to Machu Picchu from Inca Trail, or the Huayna Picchu mountain, where the temple of the Moon is located. We recommend to visit too the local Museum near to the town of Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train. Lodging.

Yeah it was kind of late but I was holding out hope I could try and talk someone into coming with me, and I wanted to see what kind of damage I was going, I still have to goto the Brazilian Consulate next week and get a tourist visa. But fuck it I've wanted to go forever, so I figure what the fuck, just do it. Just ordered a new camera 8.1 megapixels, so I'll be sure to go nuts taking photos. Btw your going to love Greece
