I know a lot of other people were interested in knowing about this place.. on Maris' recommendation I got my brows done there today... and all I have to say is I am never going anywhere else... sooo worth the $32... I grew mine out for like 6 - 8 wks (which SUCKED) but it was so worth it in the end.. they look fab I finally have eyebrows!! and they're thick and archy .. they used to be nearly non-existent, lol. I'll post before & after pics when i get a chance.

were they ever naturally thick? Mine used to be but I started tweezing or waxing them from age 13 on loll.. and they just stopped growing past a certain point.. I just recently decided to grow them out and I was surprised at how thick they got.

no they were always pretty tame i didnt start plucking them till like 5 years ago.. my bf shaped them the first time LOL

just blonde hairs i gotta tweeze off so it doesnt look like eyeshadow clumping

i dont bother reshaping im trying to save the hairs lol

i dont like waxing my brows though i prefer threading

at Sephora on 5th Avenue by Saks or the one by Times Square
i go to the one on 5th Avenue and they do a bang up job...any girl they all have the same training and they use stencils so they dont mess up or get overzealous with the hair removal (theyll NEVER be "too thin")

She did tell me that she was gonna use the stencil but other than that I dunno what they used.. whatever it is is amazing though.. I went to the one on 5th too... I think Becky was the girl's name.

And when I left there my eyebrows looked almost exactly like hers b/c I think she did a little fill in for me.. I actually need to ask her next time what she used.. do u have any idea? When I washed my face mine looked a little less "full" so I would love to recreate the look she did!

Well I actually made mine the day before But I would not recommend it b/c I know they get BOOKED.. I'd do a week before.. and I meant to w/mine.. but they're impossible to get through too.. I was playing phone tag w them for about a week and got lucky enough to get an appt on Monday for 4pm yesterday. That's probably another reason I got mine.. since it was before 5 when everyone's getting out of work and stuff.

I went to anastasia's salon in bev hills. It was $40 and I was not impressed. And that was after growing my brows out and looking like a mess for 2mths so the difference should've been way more impressive. The girl didn't use a stencil. I didn't notice if anyone else in the salon was using a stencil. The shape she made was not nearly as flattering as what I was used to. Needless to say.. I went back to my $8 vietnamese lady.

There was a lot of women going there though. They have like 10-12 stations that were all full. I'm sure they were booked pretty solid with appts and there were like 10 walk ins when I showed up at 11am.

yea same situation with them being booked when I went.. only like 5 stations though I think.. theyre all supposed to use a stencil.. so that is weird.. dunno if LA is different but I don't see why it would be?
