    Mexico is great.
I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa-Ziuhatanejo, Cabo, Cancun, and Playa Del Carmen. Favorites are Cabo and Playa.

Depends on what you guys want to do: nightlife, relax, sightseeing, diving/snorkeling, etc..

I would recommend Puerto Vallarta or Playa Del Carmen.

PV is great: good sightseeing, history/culture, good nightlife.
But it is on the pacific side, so its further for you and the water is more blue, not white sand/clear blue water.

PDC is fanatastic, you fly into Cancun, but it is south(30-35 miles) on the Mayan Riviera and is NOTHING like Cancun. White sand beaches and clear water. Has nightlife in town and Cozumel is very close, some of best diving/snorkeling in world.

If you are looking inclusive, this place is great:

Yes, Royal Hideaway is pricey. Its like $500 a night, but that does include ALL drinks and food. The only thing you pay for there is if you order a bottle of wine, spa stuff, or water activitites. If you can swing it, I recommend it.

Let me look around and I will post something soon.

Puerto Vallerata is very nice, actually stayed in Neuvo Vallarta. Hotel was cool didn't have to leave for anything, had three pools, zoo, club, six restaurants. Go see the city sites. Cancun is to Americanized IMO, i liked Isla Mujeres tho alot of women there hence the name.

I LOVED it.. i swear it looks just like the pictures and if you stay there you can travel to other palace resorts for free during your trip.. you wont need to though.. great pools.. a beach with a lagoon that is sectioned off so no big fish can get in.. you can cayack.. and snorkle right on the resort

oh and its 18 and older so no kids
