i personally like the double over. it feels so much more comfortable. but when the weight starts getting heavy, ill switch to the over-under grip

i personally feel double-over is the hardest way to go

ha we all know this is my favorite topic lol so ill add

i did deadlifts the other day and my entire back is blown out. such a great feeling. i dont deadlift every week. ill deadlift once every 3 weeks. i dont think i can push maxing out deadlift week-in-week-out, prob do a number on my CNS. the weeks following the deadlifts, i will do variations such as good mornings, weighted chin ups, heavy barbell rows, etc.

if you think about it over under is not the greatest alignment of your body.

over over is much more symetrical in a lift.

plus you need to switch and alternate over under over under if you do em that way, honestly my under shoulder always sees to hurt when i go over under , this is why i was asking.

its hard to pull more weight over over, but i think its a better form.

they way i got used to pulling over-over was doing RACK DEADS. you can load the bar up on the pins about knee height, and grip and rip. really helps the grip and makes your hands alot tougher

I've been doing deadlift heavy twice a week, using an over-over grip for about 5 weeks. I never knew why ppl did it the over-under way until this weekend. It just never felt right to me.
