i believe the only harm is in salt content (just get the unsalted variety)

and if you eat the shells... your body can't digest it.... just like you can't digest corn completely

btw its not only in the salt content, it's also a seed, so high in good fat but if you over it em, pack on the pounds fooo sure

my fav are pumpkin seeds, during last summer i ate so many of em and always salted that my tongue felt like it was burnt lol

sunflower seeds are more hassle than they are worth..

if i have to eat them i chew them with the shell but all they do it get shit in my teeth and make my lips burn..

too much work IMO. you'd have to eat a lot of seeds in order for the fat intake to really affect you right?

i work in a russian kitchen (so you know i can only say HORRIBLE things in russian... which works out since i work with russian men. )

so i ask my chef Gary (aka. Igor) whats the deal with sunflower seeds? He assures me that he can polish off 1 pound in no time at all.
