Where can I find some good Baklava in New York

    Such a craving for it!

best i ever had was made by my greek babysitter (yai-yai ) when i was a kid in astoria... i went to artopolis (sp?) a few years back... not sure how the baklava was...

but the galaktoboureko made me all

    speaking of greek desserts...

anyone know where i can get good loukoumades?

yai-yai used to make them for my name day every november... havent had good ones anywhere else since i was a kid.

I know you said New York, but the best baklava I ever had surprisingly was from Tick Tock Diner on Rt. 3 in Clifton, NJ

Loukoumades are best when hot - so you will not find the best @ Titan- you can buy the box to make them @ home from Titan..

but Drea, many Astoria caffes offer them...my dad made them best with rosewater
