Anyone in marketing - need industry reports

Need a huge favor to anyone in the marketing industry. Currently finishing up my MBA and for my international biz group project, we are evaluating two EU markets to open a Smoothie King franchise.

So basically trying to find out market information for the fitness industry in Ireland and Czech Republic. Found various articles that state how both countries have major gyms opening up all over the place due to demand, but need to find some actual reported data to back up this information.

Really not too sure where to look so any suggestions is greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks!

You need LexisNexis. Your school should have an e-library.. almost every business school has a ton of databases available for students. Hit up a computer at your library, log in with your ID card, and look for LexisNexis. You'll probably be able to find other databases for marketing data... ask your professor what databases he recommends for international market data, but LexisNexis is the king. MarketResearch.com is another biggie, but both of these charge hundreds and even thousands for this data unless you go through your school. This is one of the most valuable parts of being in b-school I'm surprised you haven't hit it up yet (the e-libraries).. unless your school doesn't have anything like it.

Yes, I am hitting up lexis nexis and other databases through the school. But as you mention, there are other market research reports out there and was trying to see if anyone had any additional information similiar to these reports.

Only thing I would suggest other than databases at school are scholar.google.com which has professional journal articles and studies.
