    Chicken Satay

    Does anyone have a good Chicken Satay recipe?? I want to make it tomorrow and there are so many recipes I don't know what to use! Thanks!

    hmmm thanks! so far out of 20 i have looked at i think i like this recipe the best

    THAI CHICKEN SATAY SKEWERS

    1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
    3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    2 tablespoons water
    3/4 cup canned unsweetened coconut milk
    1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
    4 green onions with tops, cut into 1-inch pieces

    yea the key ingredients seem to be ginger, coconut milk and peanutbutter. let us know how it turns out.

    So i made chicken Satay on New Years..it was good but definitely not like my favorite satay at Mr. Chow's lol...the entire tray was gone in a few minutes and everyone loved it..i think i am going to try some other recipes tho, something was missing IMO

    Here;s mine. and it is delish!
    I got it from a Thai restaurant on lOng island.

    3and a half tablespoons creamy peanut butter
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup lemon or lime juice
    1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
    2 tablespoons curry powder
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed

    DIRECTIONS
    mix peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, curry powder, garlic and hot pepper sauce. Place the chicken breasts in the marinade overnight
    warm grill
    put the chicken onto skewers, then grill for 5 minutes per side.

    i sometime s make extra sauce 4 the side
