Thumbs up BEST MOVIE i have seen in a whileee

    La Vie en Rose

WOW...what an amazing story, and bravo to Marion Cotillard who is well deserving of her Oscar....she did such a magnificent job playing the degression of such an ugly character...it was brilliant.

if you havnt seen this yet-i highly highly highly recommend it

I absolutely loved this movie, particularly her acting. She definitely made this movie what it was...it's unreal how well she was able to play the character throughout EVERY decade.

She is by far a new fave of mine, and absolutely stunning as well. I was elated that she won the Oscar for this

    The Machinist is not recent

La Vie en Rose was amazing, Marion Cotillard blew me away, and they did a great job transforming her into a 50 yr old, hideous and sickly old lady lol. Loved this movie...

oh and it is about the life of the famous French singer Edith Piaf.

Basically the film entails the life story of a French singer, Edith Piaf. Marion Cotillard plays her throughout different decades...and it takes us through different problems that she faced (she had a very tumultuous/troubling life). The amazing part about the movie is undoubtedly her performance, she honestly was unreal...

I also The Machinist...DEF most outstanding performance by Bale to date.

WOW I have been wanting to see this movie for the longest! I have a 9-disc Edith Piaf collection and it is so soothing to listen to, especially while I write. I love her voice. I am going to try to remember to get the DVD this weekend, I hope it has the director's commentary!
